Helping Hands
SERVICE TRAINING
Using the best insights and experience of industry partners, we launched a back- to-basics training program to introduce our students to benchmarks for service standards in food and beverage and general hospitality services. “So You Think You Can Serve” is designed as a comprehensive, real-world approach to service techniques and customer relations – everything from professional etiquette to guest contact skills and service recovery. We help with interviewing skills, resume preparation, and introduce participants, many of whom need a hand up or a door opened, to the benefits that a career in the hospitality industry can provide. Many graduates of our program have gone on to be placed in positions throughout the region, with the assistance of 2H2E partners and sponsors.
MENTORSHIP
Our mentors help our students connect with hospitality careers that they might not otherwise have access to. Sharing their own personal paths through life, our mentors guide their mentees through celebration, support, and encouragement.
CRASH COURSES
We offer quarterly career fairs expanding on best practices professionally and personally.
Ages 16+ are welcome.

OUR PARTNERS
Our partners are individuals or organizations who provide candidates for our program. Employment Sponsors are a hotel or industry who provide employment for our participants, resources or donations to help fund our training.
OUR PROGRESS
Our goal is not just to help people land jobs. We build the skills to maintain lasting employment, gain promotions and establish a sense of accomplishment through independent living.
OUR MENTORS
Our mentors develop a deep 1-on-1 meaningful connection with our students because they, too, have overcome relatable challenges. They are open-minded, curious, friendly, and authentic. They understand that every experience in life provides genuine learning moments and create an environment of safety, trust, and optimism.
